The PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty let you stay longer than with normal air, as you breathe less Nitrogen…
The PADI Deep Specialty will take you beyond 30 metres to a maximum of 40 metres depth exploring areas you couldn’t before…
and the PADI Wreck Specialty will allow you to safely enter wrecks to explore the hidden treasures inside.

3-4 Days – this is how you get 3 PADI specialties:
DEPending on your experience you will take 6-8 dives spread over 3-4 days to get 3 Specialties at once
What the exact schedule looks like depends on which dives you have taken as part of your previous courses and we can always adjust the program to you, but in general, these are the elements:

NITROX (Enriched Air) Specialty
The PADI Enriched Air Specialty is focussing on the difference of normal air compared to air with higher oxygen content, advantages and safety procedures.
As such there is no diving skills involved, but mainly theory and predive-procedures that you learn about.
You will sit in for a Knowledge Development Session including Video, Knowledge Reviews and Exam followed by analysing the content of the Nitrox tanks, that you will use on most of your dives of the Wreck & Deep Specialties.
PADI DEEP DIVER Specialty
If you already passed the PADI Advanced Open Water Course or PADI Deep Adventure Dive, those dives will be credited towards this Specialty and you will have to participate in 3 more dives to gain this certification.
The theory for this specialty contains of a short video and Knowledge Reviews, which can be done around your dives – practical tasks are in focus instead.
On the dives you will look at changes to pressure sensitive objects, color as well as shorter no decompression limits.
Navigation at depth, reacting to Narcosis as well as emergency procedures in case you accidentally exceed your limits will as well be part of your training dives.
And the last dive will be in your control – you plan and execute your Deep Dive like a Pro…
PADI WRECK DIVER Specialty
You may have taken the PADI Wreck Adventure Dive as part of the PADI Advanced Open Water Course or just by itself. In that case, this dive can be credited, as it is just a general orientation to Wreck diving itself and you will only need to complete 3 instead of 4 dives.
As with the Deep Specialty, the theory consists of Video and Knowledge Reviews and can be done around your dives. An added exercise is to get some land practice to get used to the gear you need (reels, torches, gloves) for your dives.
Compared to the Wreck Adventure Dive as an orientation, Dives 2 – 4 of this specialty are packed with tasks, where you will create a map, practice using reels and torches, tying knots, using lines to signal to your buddy … and finally plan and execute a wreck penetration dive!

Minimum Certification Level:
To start the PADI Deep & Wreck Specialty courses, you will have to be certified as PADI Adventure Diver. For the Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty, a certification as PADI Open Water Diver (or holding an equivalent certification of another recognized training agency) is sufficient.
Minimum Age
The minimum age required for Deep & Wreck Diver Specialties is 15 years to reach the required depths. If you’re not of this age, you can still participate in the Enriched Air Nitrox Specialty Course.
Medical Statement
You need to be medically fit for diving. You will find the Medical Statement for Scuba Diving here to download. If in doubt, please check with your physician or ask us before booking your dive experience with us.
Insurance
To comply with our dive insurance requirements, you will need to have proof (logbook etc.) of a dive within the last 6 months otherwise you will need to take part in our Crystal Dive Scuba Review before taking part in the course to receive our insurance cover.

8-Dive-Option: You may be new to Deep and Wreck Diving. If you haven't yet completed the PADI Adventure Dives in either Deep or Wreck Diving then this is your choice. You will participate in 4 Dives in both Specialties plus finishing the Nitrox Specialty along the way.
7-Dive-Option: It's the choice if you have completed one of the 2 PADI Adventure Dives already: Deep or Wreck. Here you will have to complete 4 Dives in 1 and 3 in the other Specialty using Nitrox tanks after completing that Specialty.
6-Dive-Option: If you already completed both PADI Adventure Dives in Deep and Wreck Diving you can just enjoy 3 more dives in each Specialty and use Nitrox on most dives, once you completed that Specialty right at the start.

Can I start my Specialty Package every day?
In general, yes. We start our courses any given day. To secure your desired start date, we recommend booking your Specialty Package online HERE. This will guarantee your placement in a small group of maximum 4 students per Instructor.
Is it possible to change the schedule for my Specialty Package?
Our schedules are flexible and we will do everything to adjust it to your travel plans. Please contact us to arrange for a schedule that suits you within the limits of the Specialties performance requirements.
Is there a shorter option available for the Specialty Package?
Yes! The schedule depends not only on the amount of dives you have already taken, but as well other factors. Contact us at any time for more information.
What are the rates for accommodation?
For your Specialty Package we offer accommodation in a private AC room (choice of Double or Twin) at a discounted rate for the standard course duration of 4 nights. There are also upgrade options available for the adjacent Koh Tao Regal or Beach Club Resort. More information here or just contact us directly.
What are the minimum requirements to start my Specialty Package?

How many students will be together with me on my Specialty Package?
We pride ourselves to teach our courses personal in groups of max. 4 students per Instructor. If you still prefer a smaller group or a private course please contact us directly. On the other hand, if you travel in a bigger group, please let us know and we arrange for multiple Instructors to teach you together.
Can I take a Go Pro on my dives for the Specialty Courses?
You can take your own camera on any of the dives. Be aware though, that you may be busy with the tasks at hand. A better option may be to arrange for our In-House Video & Photo company Crystal Images to either take professional photos or a broadcast quality video of you on two of your dives.
