What PADI scuba diving Internship program did you complete?
I completed my Lifestyle Divemaster program here in Crystal Dive last year and came back to get more experience completing the Divemaster internship.
What were you doing before you joined Crystal Dive?
I was living in Australia for couple of years, where I did my Open Water course and fell in love with the ocean.
How long have you spent completing your scuba diving internship?
My internship lasted for 10 days.
What was your favourite part of your scuba diving internship and why?
I really enjoyed every task I was supposed to complete, mostly meeting new people every day and taking them under water to experience something new. To see the happy faces when we saw something exciting. Also scuba reviews were very interesting for me, as it’s very close to teaching.
What was your least favourite and why?
Sometimes is hard to provide the best experience to our customers when the conditions aren’t perfect eg. the visibility, but that is something we have no influence on.
Who was your favourite instructor and why?
I found everybody working for Crystal very relaxed and knowledgeable and enjoyed assisting on many courses with different instructors.
Had an exciting time with Tina doing my wreck specialty, Manu was so good while teaching us the skills and always with a smile on his face, Beard made the open water course look so easy for the students, had a lot of fun on rescue course with Kirsty and Luke… and so on. Everybody was always happy to help with any questions.
Do you think our additional Marine Conservation ‘ECO’ program was beneficial to your Professional level scuba diving training and if so why?
As I am very interested in conservation myself, I found it very interesting to be able to participate in clean-ups of dive sites and the island itself. I think it’s very important to take care of the ocean if we want it to stay healthy and full of marine life.
As a qualified PADI Divemaster what are your future plans with regards to scuba?
I hope I will be able to work as a Divemaster for some time to get even more experience before I consider moving forward with my Instructor course.
And what about Koh Tao
This tiny island is a peaceful place full of cool people and awesome diving options.
One of my most favourite ones is definitely Coconut Monkey. I also enjoy many of small Thai places which don’t even have a name !
How did you spend your non-diving days?
I usually went diving even on my day off, explored the Island a bit or just chilled out on the beach.
Where are you heading to next?
