Once you have a few additional dives beyond your Open Water diver course you will want to explore further. So much more lies below the 18 metre limit; ship wrecks, deep reefs and wall dives.

Diver Prerequisites 

To enroll on a PADI Deep Diver course, an individual must:

• Be certified as a PADI Adventure Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another training organisation similar to that of a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.)
• Be 15 years of age or older.

Get Credit! 

The first dive of this PADI Specialty Diver course may credit as an Adventure Dive toward your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Alternatively if you have completed the PADI Advanced course, or are a PADI Adventure Diver with Deep Adventure certificate, this will credit as Dive 1 of the Deep Diver Specialty.

Deep Diver – Course Schedule: 

The PADI Deep Diver course is designed to develop your theoretical knowledge and skills allowing you to plan, organise and conduct no decompression dives between 18 and 40 metres. We schedule the PADI Deep Diver course over 2 days. This is flexible and we can plan the course around your personal timeframe. 

Sample Schedule:

• Day 1 Orientation /Knowledge Reviews Deep Diver training dives 1 & 2*
• Day 2 Deep Diver training dives 3 & 4

On completion of the course you will be awarded the PADI Deep Diver certification. The PADI Deep Diver certification can be credited as one of the five PADI Specialties required to attain the highest non professional certification within the PADI system – PADI Master Scuba Diver.
