This is because diving on Enriched Air, or ‘Nitrox’ as it is commonly referred to, enables you to spend longer under the water. This is due to the increased content of O2 in the air giving you longer no decompression times, especially so on repetitive dives.

Diver Prerequisites
If you are a PADI Junior Open Water diver, at least 12 years of age, you can enrol on the PADI Enriched Air Diver course.
Get Credit!
The first dive of this PADI Specialty Diver course may credit as an Adventure Dive toward your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.
PADI Enriched Air – Course Schedule:
The PADI Enriched Air course is designed to develop your theoretical knowledge and understanding allowing you to plan, organise and conduct no decompression dives, on Enriched Air to a maximum depth of 40 metres.
We schedule the PADI Enriched Air diver course over 1-2 days. This is flexible and we can plan the course around your personal timeframe.

On completion of the course you will be awarded the PADI Enriched Air Diver certification. The PADI Enriched Air Diver certification can be credited as one of the five PADI Specialties required to attain the highest non professional certification within the PADI system – PADI Master Scuba Diver.
