Enriched Air (Nitrox) diving is getting more and more popular over the last decade as divers can simply stay longer down under, especially on dives between 18 to 35 metres.
Using Enriched Air means that your air contains more oxygen and less nitrogen with the advantage of getting this extra time.
In just a day or even half a day you will learn the safe diving practices and can turn yourself into a fully qualified PADI Enriched Air Diver.
Nitrox diving is the future and you shouldn’t miss it or you miss out on your future dives!
As a certified diver you already learned the main difference between normal air and Enriched Air Nitrox.
As a PADI Enriched Air Diver you will be able to dive anywhere in the world using Nitrox. Now it is time to learn how to use it and get the benefits!

Basically, you can combine this course with any other course in the PADI system, so the options are endless to become a PADI Enriched Air Diver, but in general, these are the parts of your training:

Part 1: Theory & Practical Application
We will start with an introduction and necessary paperwork. You will then get access to your personal Nitrox-Manual and watch the PADI Enriched Air Diver video. With the combined information of the media you can fill in the Knowledge Review at ease before reviewing it with your Instructor.
Nitrox-Diving is heavily based on dive computer usage and your Instructor will tell you about the local protocols for Enriched Air Diving as well.
Once you’ve worked through the Knowledge Review with your Instructor we will get to the Practical Application: analysing the content of your tanks and working out maximum depth & No stop times uisng a dive computer.
You will finish off this part with a little exam with 25 multiple choice questions. Technically now you are already certified!
Part 2: PADI Enriched Air Nitrox Dives
Learning the theory and analysing the content of a cylinder assigned to you is one side … but using it is the best part!
No matter which option you choose – there is no additional skills on the dives apart from adjusting your dive computer correct before.
With the Nitrox-Upgrade-Version you will take 2 of your course dives using Enriched Air Nitrox instead of normal air and there won’t be a change in the main dive objectives.
If you opt for the Nitrox-Standalone course, we will take you on two (preferrably deeper) separate dives and just enjoy the marine life on a fundive with the bonus that we can stay longer along the bottom.
Either way you will extend your limits and dive longer than many others!

YOUR DIVES ON VIDEO OR PICTURES
During your dives our in-house underwater film company, Crystal Images, will accompany you to capture your experience on film and then edit the footage into a 10 minute movie which we show at the bar that evening. The video is available to purchase by all course students after viewing so you can share your memories with family and friends.
Alternatively, our Underwater Videography team is available to provide you with personal and lasting memories of your experience and offer unique underwater video and photo services for your course. You can choose from a 10 minute land and underwater based video or 10-15 high resolution photographs.
These options are available for your scuba diving course and can be booked by following the link below and choosing the ‘video & photo’ option, in addition to your course booking. Please ask us about group bookings and additional options on other courses.

Can I start my PADI Enriched Air Specialty every day?
In general, yes. We start our courses any given day. To secure your desired start date, we recommend booking your PADI Enriched Air Specialty online HERE. This will guarantee your placement in a small group of maximum 4 students per Instructor.
Is it possible to change the schedule for the PADI Enriched Air Specialty?
Our schedules are flexible and we will do everything to adjust it to your travel plans. Please contact us to arrange for a schedule that suits you within the limits of the PADI Enriched Air Specialty performance requirements.
What are the rates for accommodation in my PADI Enriched Air Specialty?
For your PADI Enriched Air Specialty we offer accommodation in a private AC room (choice of Double or Twin) at a discounted rate for the standard course duration of 1 night. How many students will be together with me in my PADI Enriched Air Specialty?
We pride ourselves to teach our PADI Enriched Air Specialty personal in groups of max. 4 students per Instructor. If you still prefer a smaller group or a private course please contact us directly. On the other hand, if you travel in a bigger group, please let us know and we will arrange for multiple Instructors to teach you together.
Will I see different dive sites during my Open Water Dives in the PADI Enriched Air Specialty?
We have 3 custom built dive boats and choose the dive sites based on your course requirements, comfort level and weather conditions. Generally, we change dive sites on a daily basis, so you will dive at the best spots available for your PADI Enriched Air Specialty. More about our boats here.
Can I take a Go Pro on my dives for the PADI Enriched Air Specialty?
You can take your own camera on any of the dives. A better option may be to arrange for our In-House Video & Photo company Crystal Images to either take professional photos or a broadcast quality video of you on two of your dives on the PADI Enriched Air Specialty.
