What were you doing before you joined Crystal Dive?
Scheduling pilot training for a subsidiary of Delta Airlines.
How long have you spent completing your scuba diving internship?
What was your favourite part of your scuba diving internship and why?
Assisting open water courses. It’s fun to see students progress and learn to enjoy scuba diving just like I did.
What was your least favourite and why?
Hauling tanks is back breaking work.
Who was your favourite instructor and why?
They have all been a pleasure to work with, but I have to credit my mentor Steph as my favorite. She is extremely knowledgeable and teaches in a way that is thorough but also really enjoyable for the students.
During your scuba diving internship which of the additional Marine Conservation ‘ECO’ program activities did you take part in and which did you enjoy the most?
Do you think our additional Marine Conservation ‘ECO’ program was beneficial to your Professional level scuba diving training and if so why?
Absolutely, it has helped me to appreciate the underwater environment more and made me want to protect it so everyone can enjoy it for future generations to come.
As a qualified PADI Divemaster what are your future plans with regards to scuba?
Do a lot more diving, gain more experience and hopefully use my Divemaster certification to help fund my travels along the way.
And what about Koh Tao?
It’s a beautiful place and I will definitely be back to visit at some point.

How did you spend your non-diving days?
Eating, sleeping and laying on the beach or snorkelling.
Where are you heading to next?
Backpacking through Laos, Vietnam and then off to either the Philippines or Indonesia for some epic diving and searching for a job as a divemaster.
