What ‘Diving Lifestyle’ Internship program did you complete?

The Advanced Open Water to Divemaster program.

What where you doing before you joined Crystal Dive’s team to complete your scuba diving internship (Diving Lifestyle Program) on Koh Tao?

I was co-owner of the building company. I was doing all the paper-work, bookkeeping etc. Boring stuff.

How long have you spent completing your scuba diving internship?

Two and a half months. I took my time.

What was your favourite part of the scuba diving Internship and why?

It’s hard to decide. I liked assisting because it shows me how instructor works looks like, learning new stuff and of course diving. Also I liked the fun dive lead. At the beginning I was really nervous but when I jumped into the water with customers I was relaxed and really enjoyed it!

What was your least favourite part and why?

My first fun dive with other DMTs. I was leading them for practise and I lost everyone after 20 minutes. I was embarrassed. But I talked with people from Crystal and they made me realised that’s how I’m supposed to learn.

Of course they were right..!!

Who was your favourite Instructor and why?

All of them are great and were ready to help you and answer the questions. But I will remember most Peloto because he was my mentor and really help me with my problems, questions and was there if need anything. Also Nina helps me few times and was there if I needed something. I really appreciate that.

As a qualified PADI Divemaster what are your future plans with regards to scuba?

I want to work as Divemaster for a while. Get some experience and do the PADI Instructor course later.

I love Koh Tao! It’s really nice place with people from all around the world. I was surprised that after two months it felt like a home.

And your favourite restaurant on Koh Tao?

I like Famoso for the pasta and Home Thai with best pad thai in Koh Tao.

How did you spend your non diving days on Koh Tao?

I went on trips to Malaysia and other parts of Thailand.

Where are you heading next?

I don’t know! I want to stay here for a while and then who knows? I have so many ideas and places I want to visit that I can’t decide yet.
