Hometown: Grenoble, France
Age: 22
Internship: PADI Divemaster

What ‘Diving Lifestyle’ Internship program did you complete?

I did the ‘Lifestyle’ Divemaster Internship.

What were you doing before you joined Crystal Dive’s team to complete your scuba diving internship (Diving Lifestyle Program) on Koh Tao?

I was wandering through Europe and Asia for a year, slowly making my way to Koh Tao.

How long have you spent completing your scuba diving internship?

It took me 5 weeks.

What was your favourite part of the scuba diving Internship and why?

My favourite part was being able to be with my Mom for her two DSD dives and seeing her having an awesome time following fish around. I was also assisting on my Dad’s Open Water course which was really cool, nothing beats telling your Dad off underwater.

What was your least favourite part and why?

Hard to answer that one. I loved everything really, but I guess the 400m swim. I couldn’t feel my arms afterwards.

Who was your favourite Instructor and why?

Can’t really pick one. I love them all..!! However if I do need to pick just one, I’d say Dirk S. He was my instructor for my Open Water and Advance courses, which were awesome. I did some assisting with him as well and he always finds a way to kid around and therefore make everything more enjoyable.

As a qualified PADI Divemaster what are you future plans with regards to scuba?

I plan to become an instructor as soon as possible and then I’ll just travel the world and dive as much as possible really.

And what about Koh Tao?

Koh Tao is an awesome place to learn how to dive, everyone is so chill as well which makes living here even better ! But for these former reasons it’s also fairly easy to get stuck here.

And your favourite restaurant on Koh Tao?

Idjang’s Kitchen in Sairee is really nice. Awesome food, great atmosphere and genuinely nice people.

How did you spend your non diving days on Koh Tao?

I usually either chill and rest or walk to Laem Thien to do some snorkelling.

Where are you heading next?

Probably Indonesia and Philippines before heading down to New-Zealand for a year. Then the rest of the world awaits me.
