What PADI diving Internship program did you complete?
What were you doing before you joined Crystal Dive?
I am Business Intelligence Consultant and University Teacher in Brazil more then 10 years. Since last August, I have been taking time away from technology to travel around the World.
How long have you spent completing your scuba diving internship?
What was your favourite part of your scuba diving internship and why?
Definitely, ECO tasks! I missing you so much this after my course. Jenny helped me a lot with buoyancy and dive. Jenny is amazing instructor! I’m very happy with my Dive Master Internship too.
The instructors who guide me are excellent professionals and are always willing to contribute with my learning. In a few days, I feel that it has evolved a lot.
What was your least favourite and why?
Assistant was so hard to me but it was an excellent learning about cultural diversity.
Who was your favourite instructor and why?
It is difficult to choose one, Crystal has excellent instructors and the vast majority are super patient and professional. I had good experiences with Manu, Matt, Suzana, Heather and Peloto while I studied here. I think the differential of these instructors is how to deal with cultural diversity.
During your scuba diving internship which of the additional Marine Conservation ‘ECO’ program activities did you take part in and which did you enjoy the most?
Adopt a Coral and ECO Dives.
Do you think our additional Marine Conservation ‘ECO’ program was beneficial to your Professional level scuba diving training and if so why?
Off course! In the future, I wanna come back to make my Reef Check and learn more about it.
As a qualified PADI Divemaster what are your future plans with regards to scuba?
And what about Koh Tao….
This is my first time in Asia. Thai People are so friendly and Koh Tao is Awesome! Beautiful and safe place 😉
How did you spend your non-diving days?
I usually go to the beach, meet other places or study.
Where are you heading to next?
The main purpose of my trip was to improve my English and Crystal was an excellent option for this. Here I did not only learn about diving, I had excellent lessons in life, I improved English and I also had my first professional abroad experience.
After my time here, I feel confident and prepared for my next steps. I’m available until May 20. I don’t have plans during this time. After this, I’m going to study at a University in New Zealand for 1 year.
