What PADI scuba diving Internship program did you complete?
What were you doing before you joined Crystal Dive?
Divemaster traineeship in Australia
How long have you spent completing your scuba diving internship?
What was your favourite part of your scuba diving internship and why?
DM’íng – met some great people and I really enjoyed showing them our dive sites and beautiful marine life
What was your least favourite and why?
Surface cover, I was leading on a rough day which I don’t think helped, but I found it a little stressful with a full boat
Who was your favourite instructor and why?
Probably Tina as she gave me some great teaching pointers in my MSDT team teaching
During your scuba diving internship which of the additional Marine Conservation ‘ECO’ program activities did you take part in and which did you enjoy the most?
I’ve taken part in beach and dive site clean ups and cigarette butt challenge. My favourite was dive site clean up, I found it really satisfying to see the amount of rubbish we picked up
Do you think our additional Marine Conservation ‘ECO’ program was beneficial to your Professional level scuba diving training and if so why?
As a scuba diver, any Eco activity is beneficial to your skill and knowledge set and of value, not only to yourself but to all the students that you teach. With the additional knowledge and experience, you can play a positive role in influencing others to be more respectful of the environment and especially the marine environment.
As a qualified PADI Divemaster what are your future plans with regards to scuba?
As an instructor I’m focussing on teaching courses and also DMíng as much as possible to gain experience
And what about Koh Tao?
Will stay as long as I can or until I feel like going somewhere else for different diving experience
Breeze or Mama’s in Sairee
How did you spend your non-diving days?
Running errands, sunbaking, hanging with friends or just chilling if it was raining
Where are you heading to next?
Absolutely nowhere, I plan to stay long term!
