What were you doing before you joined Crystal Dive?

Just finished school and was earning money to come to Thailand.

How long have you spent completing your scuba diving internship?

It took me about 7 weeks to complete my Divemaster course. divemaster koh tao

What was your favourite part of your scuba diving internship and why?

Gaining experience from other divers and instructors but also having a lot of fun with your friends underwater. Also meeting so many incredible people here, that will most certainly be the highlight of my trip.

What was your least favourite and why?

Mosquitos in the kit room.

Who was your favourite instructor and why?

I don’t have a favourite instructor as such. I think there is so much you can learn from each individual instructor as everyone has their own way to teach. best divemaster course koh tao

During your scuba diving internship which of the additional Marine Conservation ‘ECO’ program activities did you take part in and which did you enjoy the most?

I took part in the beach clean ups, cigarette butt challenge, and Dive Against Debris which was my favourite, especially as we got to do it with the whole team of DMCs. best divemaster course thailand

Do you think our additional Marine Conservation ‘ECO’ program was beneficial to your Professional level scuba diving training and if so why?

Yes I think it opened my eyes to what we can do as individuals to help the conservation of marine life. I also think that I appreciate the marine life more and feel the need to help protect it.

As a qualified PADI Divemaster what are your future plans with regards to scuba?

Definitely explore more parts of the world, gaining more experience in diving and hopefully work as a Divemaster.

And what about Koh Tao:

The environment, the people, the diving, I love everything about this island. divemaster course

Favourite Restaurant?

Where do I start, so much good food here! Num Tuk, Bam Bams, La Cantina, I couldn’t choose a favourite.

How did you spend your non-diving days?

Relaxing with friends or on the beach. Sometimes we would go on an adventure to explore different parts of this tiny island.

Where are you heading to next?

After I leave Koh Tao I’ll be heading up to Chiang Mai and Pai to continue my travels.
