What ‘Diving Lifestyle’ Internship program did you complete?
What where you doing before you joined Crystal Dive’s team to complete your scuba diving internship (Diving Lifestyle Program) on Koh Tao?
Working as an IT specialist, travelling and climbing mountains whenever I saved enough money to do so.
How long have you spent completing your scuba diving internship?
About 11 weeks. Including two forced breaks (was feeling unwell) and a visa run.
What was your favourite part of the scuba diving Internship and why?
Diving. Because it’s fun!
What was your least favourite part and why?
Anything to do with the pool. I like the ocean better.
Who was your favourite Instructor and why?
Every instructor has a slightly different style of teaching and it was great to witness most of them at work. I’d say Manu was closest to what I would like to do if I was an instructor.
As a qualified PADI Divemaster what are you future plans with regards to scuba?
I’d also like to work my way towards cave diving in the future.
And what about Koh Tao?
I like the place. It’s not big enough to be hectic and noisy and not small enough to be sleepy and boring. Plus there are loads of diving and work possibilities around here.
And your favourite restaurant on Koh Tao?
That would be Yangs on the top of Mae Haad as it’s about the only place that can fill me up for under 200 THB?
How did you spend your non diving days on Koh Tao?
I work remotely for an IT company so I tried to spend most of my non diving time working with a computer. Sometimes even successfully..!!
Where are you heading next?
Nowhere at the moment. I’m staying on the island until September and then we’ll see.
