Highly recommended diving school. Very close to the pier you arrive in the island (and this doesn’t mean unpleasant at all, pretty nice place and clean beach). Did my first dive ever (basic and advanced open water courses). Big highlight was my instructor EVAN . Very Didactic and professional, good vibe, care for your experience .

They offer awesome accommodations for a very cheap price for the time of the course, so it’s super convenient to go right away when you get to the island and then go explore more after the course. Also offer discount for the second course and in the store. Very well structured, 25 years olds school , lots of friendly people and staff for all over the world .

Highly recommend doing your Open Water Diver, and maybe even the Advanced Adventurer right after, with Crystal Dive Koh Tao. I did both certifications there and had the pleasure of being taught by Evandro, who made the entire experience truly outstanding.

Evan is not only incredibly knowledgeable and professional, he took the time to make sure every one of us felt safe, confident, and comfortable at all times – whether it was in the pool or 18 meters deep. He went above and beyond what was required, always checking in with us individually, giving detailed feedback, and adapting his teaching style to our pace. What stood out even more is what a genuinely great person Evan is – calm, positive, and super easy to spend time with both in and out of the water.

Also worth noting: Crystal Dive offers discounted accommodation (300 baht/room) right at the dive school, which makes the whole experience even more relaxed and easy.

Absolutely fantastic experience completing our Open-Water Diving Course with Crystal! The staff are all so friendly and we just felt really comfortable at all times (even when slightly out of our depth!). Loved it so much that we immediately signed up for two more dives the following day to work towards our Advanced Course. Special thanks to our very lovely and very patient instructor Alex who made it super fun and relaxed throughout. Could not recommend enough!

I have done my Divemaster program with crystal the last few months, it was one of the best expiriences ever! First of all, everything is professional, they have nice equipment, an maintenance team, surface cover for on the boat and many more. I chose crystal because of these things. Crystal also makes their Divemasters familiar with these aspects of diving during the program by giving small internship like expiriences. Next to it it was also AMAZING and really fun, the team is great, the atmosphere is fantastic and overall it was a lot of fun!

I did my stress and rescue course, and then my Divemaster program, just about to start my instructor course tomorrow.

Crystal Dive has the best facilities on the island and a really good flow of operation, everything is always on point. Also, the whole team is super chill, energetic and happy to help.

Crystal is by far one of the best diving centers I’ve been diving with!! Did my advanced adventurer there with George and had a great time. We learned a lot in these few days and had some awesome dives and overall just a great time. Also did some fun dives with Anna who was really knowledgeable about the sea live at the dive sites. It feels like being part of a big family diving with them and overall very professional and knowledgeable dive center and staff. I will definitely be back!! Thanks you guys!

Had such a great time learning to dive at Crystal Dive Koh Tao. We were beginners and decided to do the 3 day open water course and were lucky to have Todd as our instructor. He’s super experienced and really patient, took the time to make sure we were comfortable and confident the whole way through. By the end, we felt like proper divers. Can’t recommend Todd at Crystal Dive enough!

Had the most amazing experience at Crystal ended up staying longer than planned and completing the advanced adventurer course and a couple fun dives, all the staff and other divers were so friendly and helpful made some great friends and memories, the accommodation I had was also really great.
Attila was my instructor throughout and he made the experience perfect, he was a great teacher made everything simple and made us feel safe and confident while bringing a lot of humour too he was just an all round legend! Can’t wait to come back one day and do some more diving at Crystal!

I completed my Open Water Diver in January this year and if you plan on doing so too, you should definitely choose Crystal Dive. My instructor Alex was super patient, calming and created a great learning atmosphere. They are 100% focused on the diver’s safety and good experience. Got my open and advanced certifications with our instructor, Evan. He was professional, patient & passionate about sharing the sport with us! He was also extremely flexible with our schedule when we needed a break to recover from getting sick mid course. Not only is Crystal highly reputable on the island, it’s also a great value - 20k for both certifications with free accommodation. The rooms were also so nice and great location by the pier.

Had a really good experience with Crystal Dive Koh Tao. Didn’t have any experience at all and didn’t know what to expect. But our instructor Alexander Gaugusch and co-instructor Darrian made us very comfortable, and really made this an amazing experience. Really good people and teachers.

Did my dm here.
Been diving with different dive centers before, crystal is definitely the most professional one from training system to gears maintenance. They teach you how to properly get things done. Open water instructors would literally go through every single skill with you which is really really essential for new divers to get comfortable and enjoy the big blue. Encouraging but not pushing, crystal instructors are authentically happy to see every diver to keep blowing bubbles. Safety is also always at top level of all, oxygen tank and first aid kits, surface cover always ready for rescue and every roll call, good connection with local clinic and hospitals, caring crews and staffs…

I’m forever grateful that I walked in crystal office and decided to do my dm here.
The two and half month I spent on koh Tao at crystal is crystal precious with my DMC fellows. Special thanks to my mentor Oli who is there always by my side.

Best impulsive decision to take the open water course! In a group of 3 we were teached by the amazing Vera. Over 3 days we learned almost all the essential basics because of great teaching and support of the digital SSI(divers association) platform. First session in Crystal’s own private swimingpool (4m) and the next day we were out to the ocean and already so great sea life! Amazing overal experience with the best teacher (for low price and even free accomodation which is not 5 star but still really nice 😊) 👌👌
