HOW IT WORKS
Preparation
Prior to the start of the ITC you will have a day of preparation, learning what will be expected of you during the ITC.
ITC
During the Instructor Training Course (ITC), you’ll learn how to effectively evaluate instructor candidates, guide them through delivering both in-water and classroom presentations, and support them as a mentor throughout their professional development journey.
If your goal is to become an Instructor Trainer, you will also get a detailed look at how ITC’s are run from their side.
Certification
You will have to:
- Complete all acedemic sessions & Exam
- Pass all requirements and evaluations listed in the Instructor Manual for the Assistant Instructor Trainer Seminar
SCHEDULE
The Assistant Instructor Trainer Course follows the same schedule as the ITC. The Course starts one day earlier than the ITC for preparation.

Minimum Age
To join our Assistant Instructor Trainer Course you have to be at least 18 years of age.
Certifications
- Divemaster Instructor in active status.
- Have issues at least:
- 30 Open Water Diver Certifications
- 3 Stress & Rescue Certifications
- 2 Diveguide / Divemaster Certifications
- 15 Advanced Adventurer and/or Specialty Programs
Medical Statement
You need to be medically fit for diving. You will find the Medical Statement for Scuba Diving here to download. To participate in a Pro-Level-Training Course you need this Medical signed by a physician issued within 12 months before course start.
