Part 1: Knowledge Development
We will meet in the morning to complete knowledge development – which includes camera techniques, camera maintenance/preparation, composition and macro photography. Once your Instructor has reviewed this with you we will talk about the specific skills you will be completing that afternoon.
Part 2: Photography Dives
In the afternoon, we will get on one of our 3 custom built dive boats and go out for two dives. The PADI Digital Underwater Photographer course also covers PADI’s Shoot, Examine, Adjust method, which outlines the steps you’ll follow with a dive professional to take photos, evaluate how they look and then make adjustments on the next shot to improve your images over two open-water dives.
Two excellent specialities to pair with the Padi Underwater Photographer course are the PADI Enriched Air Diver course which allows you to extend your time underwater.
You may also find that the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver Course gives you helpful tips to optimize your weighting and buoyancy skills.
