With such a wide array of dive schools available on Koh Tao, for a beginner it’s quite overwhelming to try and decide on one to choose to complete your Open Water, but my boyfriend and I, and also our 3 other friends travelling with us, were so happy to have chosen Crystal. Three of us enjoyed our first 4 days so much we chose to complete our Advanced Open Water too! Mathijs was the best instructor we could’ve asked for, balancing being sure we were competent and confident in our diving with being good craic. The environment in Crystal is a very friendly and welcoming one, and we enjoyed a BBQ at their bar one of the nights, as well as a few beers other nights. Big shout out to Crystal, we’ll be back soon!Eva and David 🤙🏼🤙🏼

My diving instructor Perry absolutely crushes it. I’ve never had a more informative and easy going coach before in anything I’ve learned. He made my open water course breezy and refreshing, I’m very happy I spent the time to learn to scuba, it’s definitely worth it.. and it’s nice to have someone who truly cares about the art of scuba to teach you! You can tell Perry is really dedicated to his craft and knows his stuff inside and out. I don’t know how the other instructors are at this dive school, but if they are anything like him then I give this a full 5 star recommendation!Also scuba is insanely fun. Don’t miss out

I loved loved loved Crystal Divers everyone is so nice, the course was so straightforward and I had so much fun! Would recommend it to everyone and anyone who has a love for the water and wants to experience Scuba Diving! A big shoutout to my lovely instructor Kelvin Kyaw who made the experience so enjoyable and special. Always correcting us and encouraging us through our theory work in a positive and gentle way and sitting with us after our dives over a fruit shake and sandwiches logging our dives and talking about what we saw. I really felt looked after and trusted Kelvin to guide us through the water 30 metres down. Thank you so much Kelvin! I will be back for more Scuba Diving!!

Amazing experience getting my open water PADI. Facilities and equipment are perfect. My instructor Khosro explained everything as much as I needed and put me at ease when I did my sea dive. I will definitely be returning to do my advanced PADI and recommend Crystal 100%

My boyfriend and I did the 4 day open water course. We had an amazing time with an incredible instructor (Trevor) and dive master (Anna) who made us feel very safe and prepared for our dives. We would highly recommend using Crystal Dive for the diving qualifications. If we had time we would have also done the advanced open water but unfortunately we didn’t have time.

I don’t even know where to begin. Deciding to take the open water course at Crystal Dive has been one of the best decisions ever. I will never forget this adventure!People in the diving centre were friendly, it’s like a small community in itself.My instructors for the theory bit were Trevor and Kelvin. They were really helpful throughout the session.The rest of the training (pool and ocean) was led by Trevor. He was very detailed in explaining and demonstrating the skill sets. As a group, we were never rushed and Trevor would always give us reassurance to make us feel more comfortable. Learning how to dive the first time can be a lot as you’re trying to remember the things you learned and focus on them. Trevor’s positive energy helped us to enjoy the experience 🤙🏼. I could feel his passion for teaching and making us feel safe at all times.We also dove with Anna, who was getting her dive master certification. Diving with Trevor and Anna made our group more confident going into the ocean. They were always looking after us and reminding us what needs to be done.I highly recommend Crystal Dive for diving related trainings. Thank you so much!!! 🤩

Couldn’t recommend Crystal Dive highly enough. All the staff were extremely welcoming, and took their time to ensure a memorable experience. Our instructor, Kelvin made us feel relaxed and comfortable from the beginning, he was always on hand to answer any questions we had and allowed us to thoroughly enjoy our diving experience despite all being initially nervous. The divemaster who accompanied us on our dives, Elan was also fantastic and extremely knowledgable. Thank you Kelvin, and all at Crystal.

One of the best experiences I’ve had - swimming with a sea turtle. Having been extremely nervous prior to the open water course, as I’m not a good swimmer, the last week was incredible. Kelvin was excellent, and because of him, I ended up going on to complete the advanced course. I can see why Kelvin is so highly rated at Crystal. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, could not recommend highly enough.

Scuba diving wasn’t an activity that I had planned to do while travelling, but a friend spoke very highly of Crystal Dive and said if there’s anything I should make time to do, it’s scuba dive. Two weeks later, I found myself on Koh Tao, signing up to get my Open Water Certification at Crystal Dive!George and Honey were both extremely knowledgeable and made me feel really safe and confident in my abilities to safely scuba dive, and were constantly checking in to see if we were okay throughout our dives. George and Honey were great at telling you what you did good at as well as gave proper feedback on how to correct a skill underwater after coming up from a dive. Huge thank you to both George and Honey for a wonderful experience!

Could not recommend more highly. PADI Open Water three-day intensive course instructed by the brilliant Tom Schluter. Calm, clear and consistently entertaining are just a few of the qualities that made learning with Tom so enjoyable. Combining this with the best diving equipment/facilities on the island and the free accommodation it quickly became clear why Crystal Dive is hailed as the best diving school in Koh Tao.
